Good Form and Function

I switched from an AIO to this air cooler, and while the AIO may perform better, it was nowhere near as beautiful as this cooler. On average, I get temps in the mid-to-high 60s while playing Marvel Rivals with the fan curve set to Silent on my 9800X3D. In Helldivers, it usually reaches the low 70s. I honestly can't hear the fans on this thing while gaming, and I'm completely happy with my purchase.

Looks amazing and a solid performer.

This is a really cool cooler… see what I did there? But seriously it’s a very attractive design and performs well. Installed it on an Intel 265f on a Micro ATX case is a smaller form factor case (Jonson D32 Pro) with maybe half and inch to spare with lowish profile RAM. Temps never get above 70. Idle temps are decent as well. The screen and software are about the best I’ve used and I’ve used Lian Li, Corsair and Themalright. Also easier to install than most with well thought out rail system and nice hardware. Overall quality feel and performance. Would recommend.

Love the screen, looks so cool!

This air cooled CPU cooler from TRYX is absolutely amazing! For starter's it looks amazing, its probably the coolest CPU cooler I've ever used. I love the customizable screen. The cooling capabilities are great. Its been keeping my Ryzen 7 9700X nice and cool with no problems. Installation was straight forward and what you would expect from a air cooler. It comes very nicely packaged, and best of all... Its whisper quite! I mean you can barley even hear it when its fully ramped up. I will say that it is bigger than I thought. So make sure it'll fit in you case first. But overall, I love it! Highly recommend!

Best air cooler with an LCD screen on the market!

The cooler was packaged so well from TRYX! Opened it up and the cooler was massive didn’t expect it to be that huge in a good way! screen is nice and the way the cooler design is elegant and functional. Installation was a breeze and cooling performance for my Intel i5 250kf Plus was good, my cpu idles between 36c to 40c and on medium load rarely goes above 50c. Definitely buying the white version for another build in the future!

Impressive performance and design

I'm very impressed with the performance and the look. I haven't used an air cooler since around 2005. What I found pleasantly surprising was how well it handled my i9-13900K chip at full load. I do a lot of photo editing and have to export some big batches of rather large files through programs like Adobe Lightroom. Some of those batches result in full load on the CPU for 10 minutes. The chip never thermal throttled and stayed around 81C. Even while playing some of the most CPU intensive games, my system never felt bottlenecked in performance. Under typical use like web browsing or watching media, the noise it makes is unnoticeable. At full load it's noisy but that's the case for everything. This unit is big. Really big and I was skeptical it was going to be compatible with my RAM. But TRYX did a really good job designing the unit to make the fan above the ram adjustable. Indeed it fit over my ram with no problem. Mounting the unit wasn't too difficult but to access the screws between the radiators I needed a screwdriver with a long enough reach. The backplate for mounting is solid metal and not cheap plastic. It was compatible with my asus z790 motherboard. The screens beautiful and the overall look with the mirror plating under it really make it eye catching. The customization software is the best out there too. Though I wish they put a little more effort into providing more videos included with the software.

Lots of Cool

Overkill, I know, but I never have to worry about my CPU (Ryzen 7 9800X3D) overheating.

Watch Your RAM Profile, Might Not Fit

Unfortunately I had to return it. Reason is the RAM profile was too high and after adjusting the front fan to fit over the RAM, the case window/panel would not longer close. Thought it wouldn't be an issue in a Fractal Torrent case but it was. Also w/ the front fan offset from the screen make it look kind of bad. Giving 5 stars because I have worked w/ this cooler and other TYRX products before and they are top notch.

Silent breeze

14yo building gaming PC. As 'sponsor', this purchase was good choic3. No issues with install and hook up, and noise level is low. Roughly 2 weeks in operation, all is well.

If you must use air cooling, this is the cooler you’re looking for!

Wow! We’ve come so far with CPU coolers. I don’t know where to start…this is by far the coolest 😏 part of my build. The quality is perfect, the cpu mating surface is exceptionally flat, the fans are so quiet and move a lot of air. The screen is attached with magnets and has no wires! Just spring contacts which is so cool and makes maintenance a breeze. Performance is about as good as air coolers can be and it can keep 280watt TDP processors cool without exceeding 35 decibels! The screen is really cool, but unfortunately my build doesn’t have the internal usb hub that normal mobo's have, so I need to solder an adapter to plug it into a standard USB A port. I really wish they had included a way to do this. Also, the screen is kind of limited in what you can show; I was under the impression that you could use the screen as basically a tiny 5” monitor, but you’re limited to what the free software allows you to show, which is a variety of system temps and specs and a few anime style repeating gifs or shorts. I want to find a way to hack the screen to make it function as a full display. As far as value for money goes, that’s where we hit a bit of a snag, as this is one expensive cooler. For the cost of this Turris model, you COULD get a really nice AIO w/c kit. But if you have to have an air cooler for whatever reason and want the coolest one (literally and figuratively) then I can recommend this model. Compatibility: This model fits just about every modern CPU of the last decade. It “officially” fits AM4 & AM5 on the AMD side and Intel LGA 1700 & 1851, but with the amount of adaptors they include, I bet you could unofficially make this work on a number of other CPUs. Overall, [if you must use air for cooling] I highly recommend!

Best looking AIO EVER MADE, cools very well too !

This thing is absolutely amazing, just make sure it will fit in your case ahead of time.

This thing is gorgeous. It’s also very large.

This Tryx Turris is an absolutely stunning CPU cooler. I have this cooling an infamously hot running I9 14900k and it’s doing a bang up job. It mounts link you would expect your typical tower air cooler and is fit for all current AMD and Intel boards. The noise level is negligible even at full load and its performance is nothing short of a premium experience. It also has an absolutely amazing IPS screen that is probably the prettiest one of this type that I have seen. Pictures can’t show how crispy this thing really looks. The software to control it is super intuitive and will play whatever you want. I recommend this because it exudes quality from the second it’s unboxed, it’s just a very premium feel. It is very large, so watch your case size or it may not fit. But if it will, this is one pretty and effective cooler!

Keep it cool while looking cool

This cooler is an interesting compromise between the cool LCD AIO coolers making their rounds now, and a traditional massive sink air cooler. The presentation and setup of the cooler is top notch. You feel like you are getting a premium product. Install of the cooler is the same as any other air cooler. You attached the heatsink to the brackets, then insert the fans, then attach the screen, and plug everything in. Admittedly it is much larger than the pump and LCD setup from the AIO unit, but you also don't have to worry about routing hoses and mounting radiators. If your case doesn't have room or mountpoints for any of that, this is a good way to go. The cooling performance is good, and about what I would expect for a massive air cooler. It was on par with what I have seen from similar cooling setups like the Peerless Assassin. While those coolers are much cheaper and perform about the same, they don't have the killer feature of this cooler which is the screen. The screen allows you to display almost anything like your system vitals, static images, or even play small movies/gifs on there. It really adds another level of cool to your custom PC setup. It also servs well to hide the big chonker of a heatsink that it is, and make it look more aesthetic. This cooler sits in a space between your average large air coolers and your top end LCD AIOs. You are paying extra for the screen and cool factor of that compared to every other air cooler on the market, but you are still paying half of what most LCD AIO coolers are going for. The level of performance is really about the same across them. So the decision is made easier by taking into account factors like space in your case, setup difficulty, and cost. In the end it's a great cooler that won't do you wrong and keep up with the big boys.

Awesome screen with free software!!!

Amazing, don’t forget to download and update the Kanali software. A Tryx Kanali installation video on YouTube helped me. This is my first PC and i figured out the physical upgrade on my own. All I’m going to say is it took me 3hrs bc i almost gave up trying to replace the CPU brackets, cleaning and reapplying thermal paste. Not recommended for beginners to do it alone.

This is a large cpu cooler that keeps it's cool.

This is a awesome cpu cooler. It has a large 5in screen and it's very easy to install. Also you can customize the screen with pictures of your choice. One thing you have to consider is the the size of your pc case. I mean the depth of the inside depth of the case. This cooler is large. I'd recommend it for sure.

One of the Coolest, pun intended.

Finally completes the build and I have to say, I am AIO cooler person, but this air cooler has changed my mind. I will say this, it is huge, probably matches with one of the largest air coolers out there, but the large screen more than makes up for it. This is a 5 inch screen, which is larger than some early cell phones. You have the durability of an air cooler, which tend to last for much longer, but also the customizability of an AIO. The included fans are non-RGB, but they are swappable, which makes for even greater customization. It runs really quiet, even during Cinebench tests, and cooling was awesome, on par with Peerless Assassin. Installation is very similar to dual tower Air coolers, just make sure to at least view the instructions. The Cooler is large, but it does compensate by allowing RAM clearance. Overall, This made me change from an AIO in the build, to this. The added long life of an Air cooler with a large screen to distract from the even larger cooler footprint works for me. Videos and pictures can be customized to your liking.

Super Cool and Solid Looking CPU Cooler

I was planning a new build and wanted their curved screen AIO because it looked very cool, but I needed something that would not introduce another point of failure. It was nice to find this air cooler because it keeps things simple while still giving me a screen, one that while not OLED would still offer a great high-quality showcase element. The cooler came well packed with the brackets, thermal paste, manual and accessories in separate sections. I installed it in a mid tower case and the rail mounted fans made the process straightforward. The magnetic screen attached cleanly and the unit sat firmly once tightened. The dual tower layout and six heat pipes gave it a solid structure as well as effective cooling in conjunction with their relatively powerful yet quiet fans. The IPS screen was the standout feature because it stayed sharp and bright and wouldn't be at risk of burn-in like their curved AIO. Additionally, the screen is relatively larger and more visually interesting compared to other coolers. The independent processor that runs the display also helps to minimize system resource usage which was also super nice to have. This cooler works well if you want strong performance without the risks that come with liquid cooling. The size is large, leading to more effective cooling that helped the noise level stayed low even under load. The screen looked better than expected and the cooling stayed consistent during long tasks. It feels like a practical upgrade that keeps the fun parts of a display while avoiding the potential risks of an AIO. It is certainly pricier than cheaper AIOs or tried-and-true air coolers, but it offers a unique set of features and a cool aesthetic that I think is definitely worth looking into for your next build.
